Annilee Toolson Griffin

October 2, 1976 — August 23, 2016

On August 23rd 2016 the world lost the most truly amazing person to Heaven where she is now residing with the angels. From the time she was born she literally lit up our earthly world with her unmatchable kindness and spirit. It’s a wonder that one single body could hold a heart as large as hers. Now she will be the shiniest new star in the universe.
Annilee lived for one thing only…...her family. From the time she was old enough to talk, and as others were sharing their sweet young hopeful aspirations for what their futures could consist of; she never deviated from her life time goal of wanting to marry a husband and have children. “A mom and a wife”
She met and married her Prince Charming Cole Griffin at a very young age and they worked together to ensure this dream came true. Together they had three children, one of which was delivered straight to Heaven upon being born (Michael Tate). Together they then raised Tylie Jan and Teigen Cole. Annilee was beyond exceptional at being a mom. She adored her family – they were her world. She and Cole persevered through many hardships together. They came out stronger as a result. Their love for each other was unmatched.
Annilee also loved her Dad Reed, Brother Cody, Sisters Rachelle, Chelsey and especially her mom Janice. They shared a bond and a love that most people can only dream of. “Two peas in a pod”). If one had a sore throat, the other one seemed to catch it even when living in a different states!
Annilee made and loved friends everywhere she went. She had an amazing tolerance and kindness for every person she met- from all walks of life. Her loyalty and non- judgmental character was legendary and fierce. You could depend on her for everything. She helped many friends and neighbors decorate a home, make a craft, bake cookies and cupcakes and everything else in between. She was always fervently supportive toward family and friends. Many people seemed to be put in her path at the times they needed special blessings. She was always more than willing to be that person of support. Through her own personal challenges and heartaches, she had the innate ability to relate to others needs and selflessly, intuitively support them. Even if sometimes it was just one of her strong armed hugs or megawatt smiles.
Annilee was deeply spiritual and loved by her Heavenly Father. She spoke with Him as if He were her own personal friend.
Annilee is survived by many loved ones. Her loving husband Michael Cole and their two beautiful children Tylie and Teigen. Parents: Janice and Reed Toolson. Brother: Cody (Kerri), Sisters: Rachelle (Kham) and Chelsey. Also survived by Father in Law: Roland Griffin and his wife Michelle, Brother and Sisters in Law: Justin (Laura), Ben (Amy) Summer (Kim), Skylar, Megan (Colton) and numerous grandparents, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Michael Tate welcomed his mommy with open arms, as well as several grandparents and her very special Aunt ReNae.

The Family would like to express their gratitude to the many friends, family, ward members and others who have fondly expressed condolences and shown their Christ- like love such as Annilee herself did for so very many.

A viewing will be held at the Newton Ward Church at 10:30 A.M on Saturday August 27th followed by a Celebration of Life at noon.
