Beatrice Faye Harmer Wiser

May 23, 1925 — August 28, 2017

LEWISTON, UTAH: There was a celebration in heaven Monday morning as wife to Wally and our mother returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father and a loving family that has been waiting for her. Beatrice Faye Harmer Wiser passed away August 28, 2017 at the age of 92. Bea was born to Orris M. and Ellen Harmer on May 23, 1925 in Woods Cross, Utah. She later moved to Preston Idaho with her family and grew up there with her brothers and sisters. She met and married her sweetheart, Wallace Wiser, on November 27, 1945 in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple. After living and working in Salt Lake City for a short period of time they returned to Lewiston, Utah where they made their home and raised their children.

Beatrice was an excellent homemaker, her home was always spotless and she was an excellent cook. She grew a garden and worked in the yard and was very picky about how the lawn was mowed. When dad took over the mowing she was told to close her eyes. Mom worked for Amalgamated Sugar Factory during the fall harvest of sugar beets from about 1950 until it closed down. Mom was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in most of the church organizations in her younger years. She served in MIA, primary, Sunday School, and Relief Society.

Beatrice leaves behind her husband, Wallace Wiser and children; Lynn (Gail) Wiser of Eden, Idaho, Cheryl (Terry) Smith of Preston, Idaho, and Bradley (Patti) Wiser of Lewiston, Utah. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother-in-law, Larry Wiser (Billie Lou), sisters-in-law, Brenda Harmer and Gayle Harmer Dunn, Lois Wiser and Ramona Wiser. Beatrice was preceded in death by her parents, all of her brothers and sisters; Orris (Bus), Beverly, LaMar (Bud), Shirley, Reginald (Bill), LaVell (Bob), Patricia (Pat), Eugene (Gene), and a baby brother. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Justin Terry Smith.

The family wishes to thank Sunrise Park in Lewiston and the wonderful caregivers and angels that work there. Also Rocky Mountain Hospice that have spent the last couple of weeks by her side.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 1st at 12:00 pm in the Lewiston 2nd Ward Church, 10 South 1600 West. A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00 to 11:30. Interment will be at the Lewiston Cemetery. Funeral arrangements by Allen-Hall Mortuary
