Bob (Bill) Fillmore

LOGAN – Bob William (Bill) Fillmore, 54, passed away Monday, July 10th at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah due to complications following cancer surgery.
Bill was born in Logan, Utah on February 1, 1963. He is the son of Bob Kenneth and Yvonne (Bonnie) Fillmore. Bill grew up in Logan, attended local schools, and graduated from Logan High School. He worked for Thiokol as a security officer and then as a firefighter for twenty-two years. He was trained as an EMT-1. At the time of his passing he was working as a security officer at the Federal Building in Salt Lake City. Bill loved being with his family and helping people. He was loved by all who knew him.
Bill married Ingrid Joan Martin (the love of his life) on November 1, 1985. They were later sealed in the Logan Temple on February 28, 1987. Ingrid passed away due to cancer on December 24, 1987.
Bill is survived by his parents, Bob and Bonnie Fillmore of Logan, three sisters and one brother: Lori (Bob) Stokes Blackfoot, Idaho, EJ (Jalene) Fillmore Nibley, Utah, Michele Toone Sandy, Utah, Debbie (Steve) Wilson Lehi, Utah, and several beloved nieces and nephews. Bill was preceded in death by his wife, his grandparents, his Uncle EJ Fillmore, and his Aunt Glenna Dean.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 14, at Allen-Hall Mortuary Chapel, 34 E. Center St. in Logan. A viewing will be held prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
