“Butch” Cassidy Wakley born August 15, 1984 to Cory and Theresa Wakley in Logan, Utah, passed away August 19, 2017. Cassidy grew up in Hyrum, Utah. He went to school at Lincoln Elementary, Willow Valley Middle School, South Cache Jr. High, and graduated from Washington High in 2002. He married Karly Ann Ward in 2004, they had 3 children together. Daughters Jaycie (age 14), Jalise (age 13), and son Jairum (age 9). They later divorced in 2009. Cassidy found the love of his life and married Megan Raat August 5, 2017. They had one child together, daughter Echo Juniper (age 2 ½). His children were the light of his life.
Cassidy loved spending time with his friends and family. He loved anything outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping and riding. He loved to tinker with things. Cassidy really loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was the happiest he had ever been in life, with the start of a new family, the recent purchase of his first home, and a job he enjoyed. Cassidy was always a dare devil and wasn’t afraid of anything.
He is survived by his wife Megan, daughters Jaycie, Jalise, Echo, son Jairum, parents Cory and Theresa Wakley, In-laws Garth and Michelle Snyder, brothers Shawn (Cami) Wakley, Casey (Bianca) Wakley, Cory Wakley, sister Nichole (Bruce) Frandsen, Grandfather LaMont Daniel Wakley, nieces Kori Wakley, Brooke Frandsen, Tylee Frandsen and nephew Lane Frandsen. He was proceeded in death by grandmothers LaVona Wakley and Judy Nelson. He will be missed and loved by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street Logan, UT beginning at 12:00 PM with a viewing from 10:30-11:30 AM. A viewing will also be held on Thursday, August 24, 2017 from 6-8 PM at Allen-Hall Mortuary.
