Daniel Nelson Calderwood

May 12, 1980 — January 6, 2018

Dan passed away January 6th at his home surrounded by his family after a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer. Dan was born May 12th1980 in Logan, Utah to Richard and Nancy Calderwood. Dan spent his childhood in Amalga and moved to Hyde Park as a teenager. Dan graduated from Sky View High School in May 1998.
Dan married Alisha Peterson on November 2, 2000. Dan and Alisha made a home in Hyde Park with their beautiful children, Kourtney, Kaylee, and Jaxon. Dan made his career as an electrician working almost his entire adult life for Cache Valley Electric. Dan loved his job and loved working for such a wonderful company. His second family was at work with his coworkers and the subcontractors that he worked with. Anyone who knew Dan knew how funny he was. He was always cracking jokes, laughing, and playing pranks. Dan loved life and he lived it to the fullest even to the very end. Dan was never sitting still, even though he lived half of his life in some sort of cast because of his crazy antics. Dan loved his children and his wife with all of his heart. You would find him at every activity supporting his kids from a ball game to a dance competition he was there. He worked hard and played even harder. Dan took his kids everywhere, he always had at least one of them with him tagging along. Dan loved his family fiercely and they did everything together, skiing, vacationing, snowmobiling, horse riding, motorcycle riding, camping, boating, anything and everything. Dan included everyone in anything he was doing, he would invite siblings, nieces, nephews, parents, friends, and grandparents everywhere. Some of his favorite past times were going to the sand dunes with anyone and everyone that would come join him in his adventure. Dan was fearless and wanted to have every adventure he could. Dan will be so greatly missed by everyone who knew him.
Our hearts will forever be broken without him here, we love you Dan. Dan is survived by his
