Diane Renee Younker

NORTH LOGAN—Diane Renee Younker, 55, passed on unexpectedly Dec. 4, 2014 at the Ogden Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 11, 1959 in San Francisco to Joseph Marion Klein Jr. (deceased) and Jane Diane Kyle -Charleston, WV. Sister to Joseph Klein III (Tonya) -Mill Creek, CA. Married November 18, 1978 in the Oakland Temple to Gordon Lee Younker of North Logan. Mother of 5 Jarod (Anita) -Newark, DE; Nathan -Los Angeles, CA; Jason (Emily) -Oakley; Trisha -North Logan, and Trevin -Salt Lake City and 1 grandson, Louis.

Diane grew up in San Jose, CA. She enjoyed spending the summers with her family at her grandparents cabin amongst the tall pines, firs, and cedars below Mt. Lassen in Northern CA. It was there she learned to fly-fish from her father. Graduated from Branham H.S., attended West Valley Jr. College, and Graduated from LDS Institute in Saratoga, CA. In high school Diane excelled at track and field as well as the swim team. Diane loved the warm sand, smells and sounds walking the beaches on the Pacific Coast.

Diane is a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mother, homemaker and exceptional cook was her occupation. Skilled in crochet, she made 100s of afghans and beautiful baby blankets. Diane’s pride and joy is her children. Her last social media post, “My Greatest Wish is that my kids know how much I love them, and that they walk through the rest of their lives knowing I’ll always be there for them anyway I can!” Natural Solutions Magazines.

Funeral services at 12 NOON, Thursday Dec. 11 proceeded by a viewing 10-11:30AM at the North Logan 14th Ward Chapel, 1650 E 2600 N, North Logan. Interment at North Logan Cemetery.

In lieu flowers donate to the LDS Mission or Perpetual Education Funds.
