Donna Faye Schiffman Gorman died Tuesday September 5, 2017. She was born to Fred and Pearl Skinner Schiffman in Logan, Utah on August 10, 1929. She attended schools in Logan, including Adams Elementary, Logan Jr. High, and Logan High School. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Utah State University.
She married her soul mate, James Allen Gorman on September 2, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
She and Jim spent many years living, working, and traveling throughout the United States and countries overseas including Japan, The Bermuda Islands, and Italy.
During her working years her main employment was with the Mountain States Telephone Company in Logan and Ogden, Utah, the U.S. Government in Boulder City, Nevada, and Salt Lake City, and as an elementary school teacher in California, Idaho, Japan, Bermuda, and Italy.
She and Jim retired to homes in St. George, Utah and Fish Haven (Bear Lake), Idaho.
She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served in many callings throughout her lifetime.
She is survived by her sweetheart James A. Gorman and two siblings Reed (Dixie) Schiffman and Lynn (Karen) Schiffman and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings Gayle Schiffman Macey and Rita Schiffman Phillips.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, September 9th, 2017 in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
