Donna W. Kerr

April 10, 1927 — July 24, 2014

Donna Wyatt Kerr died on July 24,2014, in Logan, Utah surrounded by her family.
She was born April 10, 1927 in Wellsville, Utah to Charles Leavitt and Therese Bird Wyatt. She graduated from South Cache High School and LDS Seminary in 1945.
She married John M. (Jack) Kerr on November 12, 1947. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. Jack died in September, 1970. Together they had five children: Paulette (Clair) Gunnell, Steven Kerr, Ron Kerr (deceased), Janet (Kevin) Speth, and Brenda Maughan.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She loved the Gospel and served in many callings. She had a strong testimony of her Savior. She was an ordinance worker at the Logan Temple for many years. That and visiting many of the surrounding temples with her friends was very special to her. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneer, Daniel H. Wells Camp. She had many friends, including a special group of lifelong friends.
She is survived by Paulette, Steve, Janet and Brenda, brother Ralph (Loretta) Wyatt, sister-in-law Mardene Murray, 12 grandchildren Tammy, Wendy, Tiffany, Nicole, Clint, Jayden, John, Monica, Tyler, Amanda, Dillon, & Kyle, and 16 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother, father, husband and son and all but one of her siblings. She loved her family dearly and they love her and will miss her so much.
The family would like to thank the Sunshine Terrace Nursing staff, and Sunshine Hospice Services, especially Shelice, for their kind and loving care of Mom for the past several months. She loved all of them and thought of them as family. A special thanks also to Dr. Robert Nash and his staff for his care over the years.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Wellsville 7th Ward Building, 660 East 100 West, Wellsville. A viewing will be held Sunday, July 27 at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center St. in Logan from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Monday at the church, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM prior to the service.
