Forrest Gary Pritchett

Forrest Gary Pritchett (46), passed away in the arms of his family on November 9, 2017 from cancer. Forrest was born July 19, 1971 in Gunnison Utah to David and Arda Pritchett as the sixth of seven children.
He spent his entire life in Salt Lake City, Utah until moving to Cache Valley, Utah in 2012. In 1996 he married Miriam Eskelson, and they were blessed with five wonderful children: Bella Pritchett Alder (married to Brachen Alder), Indiana Pritchett, Ireland Pritchett, Jonah Pritchett, and Hale Pritchett. Their son Hale preceded Forrest in death in 2011. Forrest had a genuine zest for life, and loved people. He always saw the good in others and wanted to serve and share whatever he had. He loved being with his family above all else. But also enjoyed backpacking, rock climbing, camping, reading, snow skiing, and just plain having fun.
Forrest worked in the Insurance and Financial Planning industry for 20 years, previously having earned a BA in English Literature from Westminster College in 1997, serving an LDS mission to Seattle Washington from 1990-1992; and graduating from West High School in 1990.
He was loved by many. Forrest is survived by his parents: David and Arda Pritchett. His sisters: Ann (John) DeHeide, Barbara (Neil) Motter, Edith (Alan) Hayden, Gwen (Russell) Armstrong, and brothers: Clair Pritchett, and David (Stephanie) Pritchett.
Services will be held Friday November 17, 2017 at 3:00 in the LDS chapel, 9060 South 200 West in Paradise, Utah 84328.
