Hailey Arlene Saunders

October 2, 2002 — November 6, 2017

Hailey Arlene Saunders was granted her angel wings on November 6, 2017, following a lifelong illness. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that Hailey had touched in some small way throughout her short, yet very memorable life.
Hailey was born October 02, 2002 in Logan Utah to Kris and Brandy Saunders.
Hailey’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Her gentle spirit could melt the hearts of those around.
Although Hailey’s illness made her appear frail, she possessed strength, perseverance, and an ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With her courage she led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She taught us the true meaning of determination and love. She enjoyed music, sleeping late, and having stories read to her.
With Hailey’s passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated. Although we will miss her every day. She will forever remain in our hearts. Through her teachings about life, we were able to create beautiful and wonderful memories that will be ours forever and it has been a privilege to be her parents. We are so thankful Hailey’s sister Brinley and brother’s Kyler and Braxton met her so they can hold dear the memory of Hailey’s gentle spirit.
Hailey leaves behind many wonderful caregivers that provided love and support that enhanced her quality of life. Hailey’s love extends to her wonderful nurses. There is a special place in our hearts for all the wonderful caregivers because of their continual dedication, love and support. All of these special people, too numerous to mention, provided Hailey with love and care. Our family wants to give a huge thank you to Brandie, Charlie, and Julie for their tireless hours of dedication to Hailey. We love you and thank you for taking care of our sweet Hailey.
Hailey is survived by her loving parents, Kris and Brandy Saunders of Newton Utah; brother Kyler sister Brinley Saunders; grandparents Mike and Delia Loosle of North Logan Utah; Randy and Jeannette Rigby of Newton Utah; Kurtis and Alice Saunders of Smithfield Utah. Great grandparents Ken and Callie Bliss of Wellsville, Venna Saunders of Benson, UT, and Arlene Rigby of Logan, UT. Many Aunts, Uncles and cousins.
Hailey will be joining her brother Braxton in Heaven. What a joyous reunion that will be. Together again!
