Henry Isaac Stepherson

Henry Stepherson died in a hiking accident in Logan Canyon on October 31, 2016 in Cache County, Utah at the age of 22.

Henry is survived by his parents Byron and Donna, his sisters Jane, Kate, and Sara; his maternal grandparents Clay and Margery Goldston and his paternal grandparents Robert and Shirley Stepherson, as well aunts, uncles, more than 30 cousins, and a multitude of friends.

Henry was born on August 25, 1992 in Logan, Utah. He graduated from Rocky Mountain High School, Meridian, Idaho, where he lettered in wrestling. Henry was attending Utah State University to become a pilot and had just obtained his Private Pilot license.

Henry will be missed by his lifelong friends from all the places he has lived: Logan Utah; Tempe and Gilbert Arizona; Las Vegas Nevada, and Boise Idaho. Henry was known for his strength, ability to make people laugh, his smile, and his work ethic. Henry has family from Florida to California and is loved by all.

Henry was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and an Eagle Scout. He served for the Lord in the Philippines Naga Mission. He was a Sunday School teacher and served in the Elders Quorum Presidency. Henry’s USU friends said that he was always ready, willing, and able to serve.

Following a viewing from 12:00-1:30pm, a funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Saturday November 5 at the LDS Chapel Aztec Building at 1295 N 800 E Logan, Utah. Henry will be interred at the Logan City Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary.

A memorial service will be held for Henry at the LDS Chapel at 6:00 pm on Tuesday November 8 at 6375 N Royal Park Ave Boise, Idaho. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Henry's life. Condolences and memories may be shared online at www.allenmortuaries.net .
