Jeneane Coley Marcusen

Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Jeneane Coley
Marcusen, 83, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 23, 2014. Jeneane was born May 21, 1931 in Lewiston, Utah.

She was the second of seven children born to Stewart (Jake) and Lola Richardson Coley. Jeneane married Glen Muir Marcusen on December 15,1950 in the Logan Utah LDS temple. Together they have six daughters: Rosalie (Dennis) Archibald, Marie (Dave) Miller, Janette (Shane) Roholt, Julie Demler, Glenna (Lane) Kendrick and June (Kyle) Hancey. Jeneane spent her youth in Lewiston, Utah and attended North Cache High School where she graduated in
1949. Upon marrying Glen she moved to Logan where they made their home and raised their family.

Jeneane was an incredible seamstress and spent many years working for fabric shops in the valley including Bernina, Keith O'Brian and Threads N Things. She was a big sports fan who enjoyed bowling and cheering on the Broncos, the Braves and the Rockies. She loved her Aggies and was an avid fan and season ticket holder who rarely missed a game. Jeneane was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she served willingly and enjoyed doing her visiting teaching. She loved spending time with her 16 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren and could often be found supporting or caring for them.

Jeneane was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Stewart LeRoy and Thomas J. Coley and her grandson Jared Rasmussen. She is survived by her husband Glen, her six daughters, 16 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, two brothers Verl (Vivian) Coley, Steve (Nancy) Coley, two sisters Vonda (Richard) Collins and Patsy (Terry) Done.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at Allen-Hall Mortuary with a viewing prior from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. A viewing will also be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment to follow at the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed online at www.allenmortuaries.net .
