Johnathon Jacob Sadler

December 15, 1988 — July 14, 2014

Johnathon Jacob Sadler, 25 of Logan, Utah was reunited with his Heavenly Father on July 14, 2014 while trying to protect a friend in need.

John was the second born to Melvin Todd Sadler and Susannah Lynn Sadler on December 15, 1988 in Logan, Utah. John lived a happy childhood with his four siblings: Stephen, Clarissa, Joshua, and Kaitlynn. John attended Logan High School where he should have played football and enjoyed his elective art classes. John had a way of becoming close to so many people whether it was his teachers, neighbors, or strangers. He was a giant teddy bear of a man who you could count on for his help with no questions asked. John held numerous jobs throughout his life. He was a very independent and hard worker and at the time of his passing he was helping his father in the construction industry. He was able to overcome many challenges in his life and turn negatives into outstanding accomplishments. He had recently become active in the LDS church again and was looking forward to the joys it would bring to his life.

He is survived by his parents Todd and Sue Sadler, grandparents June McNamara and Melvin and Lynda Sadler, his siblings Stephen (Chelsie) Sadler, Clarissa (Hans) Glasmann, Josh Sadler, Katie (fiancé Austin) Olsen, and his two nephews Gage and Gavin.

He has been welcomed into heaven with open arms by numerous family members including his grandfather Stephen Verne McNamara who passed away a month before.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, July 18, 2014 at the Cliffside 2nd Ward Chapel, 1350 Eastridge Drive in Logan. A viewing will be held on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan, Utah, and prior to the services on Friday at the church from 10:30 to 11:30 AM. Interment will be in the Providence City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net

Along with his family, John leaves behind his very close friend, Eric Larsen.
