March 12, 1971 — July 14, 2016

Newton, Utah — Jon Wesley Cox, born March 12, 1971, in Bountiful, Utah, passed away July 14, 2016. He was a beloved husband, father, son and brother. He had an easy going and happy personality with a big smile and a powerful voice. He was loved by everyone who knew him.
Jon graduated from Viewmont High School and Snow College and attended Utah State University. Jon enjoyed working as an engineer and had a close friendship with those he worked with. He was the best father to Darren, Bryan and Lynsey. His special wife Roselyn was his best friend who was always an example to him. They were sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan LDS Temple on August 12, 1994.
Jon gained a love for the outdoors by spending much of his time with his grandparents and cousins in Ephraim, Utah. He loved mountain biking and hiking through Escalante, and fulfilled a life-long dream of going to Tahiti with his family. He enjoyed reading and has a strong testimony of his Father in Heaven. He will be greatly missed by his wife Roselyn Griffin Cox; children Darren Jon Cox, Bryan Douglas Cox, Lynsey Rose Cox; parents Wesley E. Cox and S.
