Julia Ann Davis

March 6, 1952 — September 2, 2015

Surrounded in a room full of love Julie left this earthly life on September 2, 2015 to make one last adventurous trip. She was born on March 6, 1952 in Logan, Utah, the beloved daughter of Lynn H. and Luana J. Davis. She was the gregarious and spunky sister of Steven-deceased (Beth Davis-Hall), Lynnette (Keith) Pickett, Jane Davis, Patricia (Scott) Marshall, Jay (Shaley) Davis, LuAnn (Kent) Erickson, and Paul (Julie) Davis and treasured aunt to 13 nieces and 14 nephews with whom she played an important part in their lives.  She was always known in the family as “The Original Julie”.
As a savvy business woman in Santa Monica, California she owned a very successful real estate escrow business.  Her many long-time clients followed her wherever she was working. Julie endeared a loyal cliental for her professionalism and integrity in the services that she provided.
Her beautiful home in California was always open to family and friends who needed a place to stay or somewhere fun to visit! She was known throughout the family as “the food snob” and was always holding us to a higher standard, often holding her own little cooking classes at the family cabin in the beautiful mountains above Heber City, UT.
Julie traveled extensively.  Among her favorite countries to visit were Italy, France, Switzerland, and Germany where she had an amazing talent for picking up the local language. She especially enjoyed trips with her sisters, nieces and nephews. She was known to walk miles to find the right hot dog deli in New York or hang from a street car in San Francisco and share her love for the streets of Paris.
She had a fun-loving personality. She always had a kind word or sweet hug for those around her. She will be remembered and held closely in our hearts as we travel through this life taking a bit of her with us. Bon Voyage Jules! We will see you in the stars and will think of you at every family gathering.
A Memorial Service will take place Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Allen-Hall Mortuary (34 East Center Street, Logan, Utah) at 12 noon. A private family viewing will be held prior to the service. Interment will be held in the Logan City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
