Louie J Peterson passed away April 10, 2014, at Terrace Grove in her 97th year of life. Born in Ogden, UT, to Louis Phillips and Anna Jensen Phillips. Married for 28 years before his death to L T Johnson and 32 years before his death to C R Peterson.
Louie graduated from Box Elder High and Dee Hospital Nursing School. She worked as registered nurse and later as a partner in her husbands’ businesses. As a volunteer, she worked at Cache County Senior Center and Logan Regional Hospital.
Survived by her daughter, Coral Johnson (William) McCarrel of Grand Rapids, MI; grandchildren, Kirsten McCarrel, Gina McCarrel, and Alys Falcone; great grandchildren, Darya and Sacha Falcone and Teo Jimenez-McCarrel.
Preceded in death by infant daughter Mary Margaret Johnson and brother, Manuel Jensen.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 17, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center in Logan. Friends may visit with the family from 11:30 – 12:30 prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to Louie’s favorite charity, Smile Train, PO Box 96231, Washington, DC 20090-6231.
