Marlon Dean Rogers, 82, passed away on October 17, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Apple Valley, Calif. Marlon was born on the 14th of May, 1932 in Lewiston, Utah to Nora Leona Coates & Verlin Dell Rogers. Marlon served in the United States Army in the Korean War where he received 3 bronze stars. After returning from Korea, Marlon married Josie Mae Ricks; they had 3 children: Paul, Cindy, Kathy. They later divorced. He then married Helen Budge who had 2 children: Laree & Allen. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they raised a family of five. Marlon is survived by his wife Helen Rogers of Hesperia, Calif. His children Paul Rogers (Michelle) of Farr West, Utah; Cindy Jordan (Ralph) of Brigham City, Utah; Laree Williams (Willie) of Hesperia, Calif.; Kathy Olsen (Rex) of Smithfield, Utah; Allen Rogers (Denise) of Arizona City, Ariz. Sisters Doreen Johnson of Logan, Utah & Ilo Corless of Roy, Utah. Marlon has 28 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, & 3 on the way. He was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Leona Gregg, & 3 brothers-in-law.A viewing will be held on Friday, October 24, 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Funeral following at 11 a.m. in Logan, Utah at the 2nd Ward Chapel, 89 South 200 West. Interment in the Millville, Utah Cemetery
