Naomi Sorensen Glenn

Naomi Delona Sorensen Glenn, 85, passed away peacefully at the Logan Regional Hospital on Sunday, August 7, 2016 after 24 years of Leukemia.

She was born in Hyrum Utah on May 13, 1931. She was the second child of Alonzo (Lon) Julius and Lucille (Lu) Rose Sorensen. Naomi married Dean L. Glenn in 1949 and they later married and sealed in the Logan Temple. After a long enjoyable union together Dean passed away in 1996. Together they had one daughter and four sons. Naomi was an active member of the LDS Church and loved all of her callings. She loved all her friends and neighbors and enjoyed her Saturday nights our with “The Girls”.
She alway kept a beautiful yard and garden, she was known throughout the family as an excellent cook. She had a fun spunky caring attitude, was a good listener, taught by example and was always grateful. She was loved by her children and all grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents her husband , a son, Jesse, two brothers, Deloy and Dorel, a sister, Kathleen. She is survived by her daughter, Lana Battina and sons, Lonnie, Darrell, Clair her grand and great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on Friday at 2:00 pm in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center. A viewing will be held Thursday evening from 6-8 pm and on Friday from 1:00 - 1:45 pm. Burial will be in the Logan City Cemetery.

The family would like to thank her doctors at the Huntsman Cancer Institute (Dr. Deininger and Dr. Kushner), as well as the infusion therapy center at Logan Regional Hospital and all who cared for our mother.
