Nathan W Allred

June 15, 1973 — April 16, 2015

Nathan Wesley Allred returned to his Heavenly Father on Thursday, 16 April 2015, as his family surrounded his bedside and held his hand. Upon entrance into the Spirit World, Nathan immediately resumed his full physical stature and his keen intellect. When Nathan entered this life with special needs on 15 June 1973, he found a family ready to love and cherish him for eternity. During his earthly life of almost 42 years, Nathan has been the joy of his parents who felt humbled to have been called to care for him and serve him. He was the delight of his siblings who couldn’t believe that their little brother was so incredibly cute and sweet, even until his last breath.

Nathan was born in Vernal, Utah and lived in Dillon, Montana and Casper, Wyoming prior to moving to Hyde Park, Utah in 1992. In each place he lived, Nathan attended exceptional schools where teachers and care givers taught him and helped him. These extraordinary individuals provided relief for Nathan’s mother who was blessed to be his primary care giver until the very end of his life. We would like to recognize and thank Cache Education and Training Center and all those who helped Nathan during his life for their outstanding service to him and for the love which they gave him. We would also like to thank the medical teams at Logan Regional Hospital and the Neuroscience Critical Care Unit, Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah that provided expert and compassionate care while Nathan completed his earthly journey.

Nathan is survived by his parents Aral and Elaine Allred (Hyde Park); siblings Brett (Zellene) Allred (Hyde Park); Kathy (Carl) McConkie (Smithfield); Liz Allred (Hyde Park); Margaret (Dale) Smith (Smithfield); 13 nieces and nephews; 13 great-nieces and great-nephews; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother Douglas A. Allred, nephews Robert M. McConkie and Michael J. Allred, as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Viewings will be held on Friday evening, 24 April, 6-7:30PM at Allen Mortuary of North Logan located at 1800 N 420 E in North Logan and on Saturday, 25 April, 9:30-10:30AM at the LDS church located at 65 E Center Street in Hyde Park.
