Phyllis Nebeker

Phyllis Nebeker passed away peacefully on Sept 2nd 2017 at the age of 89 in South Ogden.She was born December 15, 1927 in Providence, Utah. She is the youngest of 15 children of Franz Friedrich and Augusta Mendelkow.She married Kenneth Palmer on September 27, 1946. They had five children. Kenneth passed away in October 1952, a few months before their 5th child was born, the child passed away the day after he was born. She married Kenneth Nebeker on January 26, 1956, he had 3 children. Together they had 2 children. He passed away on December 29, 1998.Phyllis was a hard worker and was devoted to her family. She stayed close to her brothers and sisters throughout her life.She was preceded in death by her parents, 14 siblings, children-Francis, Robert, and Kay.She is survived by her children Kenna Johnson, Boyd (Gwen) Palmer, Golden Nebeker, Kathy (Bobby)Davis, Julie (Alan) Roundy, Steven (B.J.) Nebeker, Mark Nebeker, 46 grandchildren, 96 great grandchildren, 24 great-great grandchildren. A viewing will be held at Allen Hall Mortuary September 9th, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 am. A graveside service will follow at Providence cemetery at 11:00 am.
