Robert Bradley Mohr

October 11, 1950 — February 25, 2015

Robert Bradley Mohr, 64 of Logan, Utah passed away on Wednesday 25 February with family present at his son’s home in Logan.
All are invited to celebrate Brad’s life at the Logan Country Club on Saturday 28 February from 4:00 to 6:00 PM.
Brad was born in Logan on October 11, 1950 but spent his formative years in Salt Lake where he graduated from Highland High before returning to Logan to raise his family in 1975.
He was an extraordinary father and raised three accomplished children; Jeremy, Elise, and Jason. Brad expressed that many of his most precious moments were spent with his nine grandchildren who lovingly called him ‘Pop Pop’. He was physically as strong as an ox but as gentle as a lamb when playing with them. He thought nothing of driving 500 miles to spend a weekend with his family or to help friends when any chore was at hand.
Brad was self employed and owned a small fleet of trucks and earth moving equipment and managed Cache Concrete until the property was sold . Additionally, he owned several businesses properties in Logan. Brad loved to spend time outdoors snowmobiling, hunting, and was an accomplished white water rafter. He owned two rafts that he piloted down the 100 mile stretch of the Main Salmon numerous times and stated that one of his greatest adventures was a private raft trip down the Grand Canyon (225 miles over 14 days) with family and friends. Brad was a genius when it came to fixing cars, building just about anything (his children, grandchildren, and nephews won every pinewood derby they entered) and was always willing to help family and neighbors when it came to moving, removing snow, or anything requiring a strong back and innovative mind. Brad often spoke of the extraordinary care he received from his friends at the Huntsman Cancer Institute, especially Kris, and the family thanks them for the extra quality of life and time together, that they gave us.
Brad is predeceased by his father Robert Carl Mohr. He is survived by his mother Evelyn Winn Rudman, sons Jeremy (Honor), Jason (Natalie), daughter Elise Gardiner (Devin), brothers Jeff (Ann), Rick (Libby), Alex (Alison), and sister Nicole Hopkins (Derk). His nine grandchildren, nieces, and nephews will miss and cherish his generosity and love.
Please join us in a celebration of this wonderful man on Saturday 28 February at the Logan Country Club where we can mourn the loss of this brave and special person and remember the joy, love, and peace that he provided to all of us.
There will be a short memorial to honor Brad at 5:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all donations be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute in Brad’s name.
