Sally Janet Sawyer Jones

Sally Sawyer Jones, 65, passed away April 5, 2017 after battling brain cancer for one year.
Born May 11, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Bill and Elnora Sawyer. Married Bill Jones December 21, 1974 at Robert Carr Chapel at Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas.
Graduated from W.F. George High School in Iowa Park, Texas in 1969 and later graduated from Texas Christian University (TCU) in Fort Worth, Texas in 1974 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education. She moved to North Logan, Utah in 1987 and taught voice lessons out of her home for approximately 25 years.
As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Sally served a mission in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir from 2007 to 2012.
Survived by husband Bill Jones, son Eric Jones (wife Ayako), granddaughters Layla and Kylee, and brother Drew Sawyer.
A viewing will be held Sunday, April 9, 2017, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, at Allen Mortuary, 420 East 1800 North, North Logan.
A funeral service will be held Monday, April 10, 2017, 12:00 pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, North Logan 1st Ward Chapel, 1105 East 2100 North, North Logan, Utah. There will also be a viewing prior to services from 10:30-11:30 a.m. Interment will be in the North Logan Memorial Park and Cemetery.
