COVE, UTAH: Katie Marie Elliott, 24, was taken from her son, family, and beloved friends by a reckless drunk driver on Monday, August 31, 2009 in Richmond, Utah.
Katie was born in Seoul, South Korea on April 27, 1985. Katie was chosen for our family. She loved to laugh and be with children. Katie graduated from Sky View High School in 2003 and had great ambitions for a happy life. Katie had her son Memphis on September 6, 2007. He meant the world to her and everyone he has been around. Katie tried to help so many people, her heart was in the right place.
Katie is survived by her son Memphis Elliott, her parents, Steven and Kathryne Elliott, Cove, Utah, brothers, Pete and Sarah Elliott; Zan, Ryon, Ty and her sister, Jana, grandmother, Judy Elliott and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Katie you are my sunshine. We love you and will miss you forever.
In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been setup at any Zions Bank for her son, Memphis Elliott.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 am in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center, Logan. There will be a viewing Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the mortuary and on Saturday from 9:30 - 11:30 am. Interment will follow the services at the Millville Cemetery.
