Alexander Barton Allred

Alexander Barton Allred, son of Lelia and the late Bradley Allred, passed away on September 24th at his home in Lakewood Colorado.

Alex was the youngest child of seven children, born in Brigham City Utah, December 1st 1988. Shortly after his birth, the family built a home in Bear River City where he lived until he graduated from high school. He served in the Air Force for 8 years. During that time he had the privilege of serving and traveling throughout the world with Tops in Blue, the prestigous Airforce touring performance ensemble. At the time of his death he was a student at the University of Colorado, earning a master's degree in Recording Arts.

The love of Alex's life was music. He was an accomplished violinist and pianist and enjoyed composing and recording. He performed locally with groups as well as touring with a well-known artist in Canada. He was always interested in finding new ways of interpreting and producing sound.

Alex is survived by his mother, his grandmother Elaine Harris, his sister Wendy Nelson (James), brother's Charles (Heather), Darren (Alyson), Spencer (Michelle), Eric Penn (Kiersten), Halley (Carol) and 17 nieces and nephews who all loved him very much. He was preceded in death by his father.

A memorial service will be held in his honor Saturday September 28th, at 2 p.m., at the Nelson Funeral Home, 162 East 400 North in Logan Utah. He will be layed to rest with his father at the Logan City Cemetery.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt gratitude to all of those who have come forward to help in any way. It has made all the difference at such a difficult time.
