Carmen Bitters Long

Our loving Mother, Carmen Bitters Long, passed away on August
22, 2018, in Syracuse, Utah.
Carmen was born on October 23, 1929 to Frank and Cyrene Bitters in Millville, Ut.
She attended South Cache High School and later attend LDS Business
College while living in the Beehive House.
She married Royal Thell Long in 1952 and they were happily married until Thell passed away in 2006. Together they had four children. They spent many years living in different locations around the world, while Thell was in the Air Force.
Carmen worked several years at the Davis County Courthouse and then at Clearfield Job Corps. She loved to read, crochet, cross stitch and garden. Most of all she loved traveling with her family to Florida and other beach destinations.
She is survived by her four children, Diane (Barry) Winget, Gene (Faith) Long, Nancy Berriochoa (Randy Kendall), John (Barbara) Long, 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her sisters Helen and Bertha, and her brother Myral.
Graveside services will be held Monday, August 27, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Providence City Cemetery in River Heights.
