Carmen Balderas Martinez

Our beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Carmen passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022. He was born on July 10, 1941 in San Felipe Guanajuato, Mexico to Ramon Balderas and Mariana Martinez.
Carmen was a very hard worker. He was employed at E.A. Miller for 23 years where he retired in 2013. In his younger years he enjoyed playing baseball and shooting pool. Most of all his joy was spending time with his family. He was an avid gardener and was known for his green thumb.
He is survived by his wife Cecilia and his children, Raquel Balderas Tapia of San Luis Potosí, MX. Manuel Balderas Tapia, Oklahoma City, OK. Jaime Balderas Tapia and Madalena Balderas Tapia, San Luis Potosí, MX. Sandra Linares, MaryLou Sarmiento, Jesse Godinez, and Christopher Godinez. Step-Children Eduardo Arellano, Javier Arellano, and Marybel Arellano. And by many grandchildren who loved him.
He is preceded in death by his parents. His first wife Maria Tapia and his second wife Maria Sanchez. Tata you will be deeply missed We Love You.
The family would like to thank Dr. Faux and staff, along with Logan Regional Hospital staff for all their compassionate care.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 27 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Allen-Hall Mortuary in Logan. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 28, at Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Hyde Park at 4 PM. Interment will be at the Millville City Cemetery.
