Following the death of her mother, when Coleen was just eleven years old, she moved with her father to Logan. She graduated from Logan High in 1966.
Following graduation she worked as an operator for the telephone company. It was during this time that she met her future husband, Bruce McCammon. They were married in the Logan Temple on December 15, 1967. Coleen and Bruce have five children and eighteen grandchildren. She is survived by her husband and children, Bill (Tammie) of Ammon,Id.. Teressa (Chris) Breinholt of Wellsville, Julie (Chuck) Bruen of Nibley, Tammy (Cole) Christensen of Nibley, Jason (Heather) of Farmington and her sister Marjorie (Bruce) Hobbs of North Logan. Coleen and Bruce lived in Salt Lake and Logan while Bruce attended school. They eventually settled in Wellsville, Utah to make their home and raise their family where they have lived for the last forty six years.
Coleen enjoyed serving in her callings in the church. She especially enjoyed her time in the nursery and serving in the Relief Society. She worked for several years as the payroll secretary for Cache County School District. She enjoyed doing crafts and handwork as evidenced by many ceramic dolls, quilts, afghans, home decor and lawn decorations, children's clothes, and crocheted animals. Her greatest satisfaction though was being a wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be sorely missed by all who were privileged to know her.
