Edith Watson Mcculloch

LOGAN 7 Edith Watson McCulloch, 91, of Logan died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2002, at the Sunshine Terrace.

Edith was born in Smithfield on March 26, 1911, a daughter of Joseph and Mary Ann Pack Watson. She has always called Cache Valley her home. She grew up and was educated in Smithfield, attended North Cache High. She was married to Ronald Jessop of Nibley and lived in Logan most of her life where she raised her family of nine children. She later married Donald McCulloch. They both preceded her in death.

She is survived by her nine children, Mrs. Bernell (Joye) Hansen, Logan, Mrs. Gary (Lois) Purser, Hyde Park, Jay Jessop, Logan, Dee Jessop, Kelso, Wash., Mrs. David (LaRae) Bowen, Logan, Linda Olsen, Bountiful, John Jessop, Richmond, Don McCulloch, Hyde Park, Mrs.

Monte (Kim) Hymas, Smithfield. She has 44 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Afton Smith,


Logan. She was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother, a son-in-law, Richard Olsen.

Edith dedicated her life to being a good wife and mother, and has always been a very hard worker. Her beautiful crocheted handwork is enjoyed by her entire posterity. Edith was known for her beauty both in spirit and person. Her tenderness was felt and remembered by children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all those fortunate enough to enter her home and life. Although she will be missed, her love is reflected through her family, and is evident throughout this community, and carried with her family to many places far and wide.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. in the Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center St. Friends may call at the mortuary Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Logan City Cemetery.
