Georgia Henderson Murray, 95, passed away on August 28, 2017, in Logan, Utah. She was born on September 24, 1921 in Hyrum, Utah to Benjamin and Melvene Henderson. She was the last survivor of twelve siblings.
Georgia married Don B. Murray on August 5, 1940. They lived most of their lives in Logan. Don passed away in 1986. She is survived by her three children, Carol (Richard) Pool, Gary (Joyce) and Dennis (Pat). She has 10 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
Georgia loved gardening and always had a yard full of beautiful flowers. She loved the outdoors and was happiest when she and Dad were camping in their trailer. They enjoyed deer hunting and fishing in Blacksmith Fork canyon. If the grandkids were there, it was even more fun.
Mom loved to travel; her favorite places were Maui and the Oregon coast. She visited them both frequently!
Georgia was a wonderful grandma; children were drawn to her. We will all cherish the memories of the happy times we spent together.
