Gerald "Hummer" Deloy Haviland

Gerald Deloy Haviland, 76 of Avon Utah passed away October 11, 2017. Born March 4, 1941 in North Ogden, UT to Lee and Leona Haviland. Married Judy Yates, July 8, 1959 in Harper Ward, UT. She passed away July 30, 2015.
Gerald graduated from Weber High School. He was a plumbing contractor most of his life. He and Judy had a small dairy farm in Avon, and he loved working the ground. He also loved rodeo and served as the UHSRA state president.
Survived by sons Shane (Dana), Avon, UT, Troy (Susan), Gilbert, AZ and daughter Lindsey (Ryan Richards), Avon, UT. Sisters Florence Bybee, Hyrum, UT and Marge Haviland, Ogden, UT. Proceeded in death by wife Judy and brother Gary.
An indoor graveside service will be held Wednesday October 25, 2017 at the Paradise 1st and 4th ward building 155 East 9400 South Paradise UT. A viewing will be held prior to indoor graveside services on Wednesday from 9:30-11:30. He will be buried in the Avon cemetery.
