Joan Larsen Schenk

October 27, 1939 — July 10, 2022

Joan Larsen Schenk passed away peacefully on July 10, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to Charles Wayne and Fern Bennett Larsen October 27, 1939. She married Wesley Walter Schenk on June 7, 1957 in the Logan Temple. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in many callings throughout the years. After retirement she enjoyed a Service Mission with her husband at Cinnamon Creek Campground for several years. She was always active and ready to share her talents from sports to music and striving to learn new things. Serving others was a high priority in her life.

Joan was in preceded in death, by her parents, four siblings, her Eternal Companion Wesley Schenk and her later in life love Dave Black. She is survived by two brothers and a sister, Her children Jeanie (George) Gravely, Jack Schenk, Tammy (Eric) White, Tim (Noel) Schenk, Steve (RaeLyn) Schenk, Jon (Michelle) Schenk and Tony (Alyia) Schenk with many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday July 20, 2022 at the LDS Cobblestone 1st ward chapel located at 420 West 100 N Providence. There will a viewing at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E Center Street Logan Utah from 6-8pm on Tuesday July 19, 2022 and preceding the funeral on Wednesday from 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the church. Internment will take place in the Providence Cemetery. A special thanks to all those who have been there for Joan and our family at this time.
