Kyler Hansen

Kyler Hal Hansen 33, of Logan passed away Saturday September 17, 2011 due to injuries from an auto accident. He was born May 21, 1978 in Logan Utah to Hal D and Teresa Cook Hansen.

Kyler grew up in College Ward with the good fortune of living next to his fraternal grandparents who were a great influence on his life.

He attended the Cache County schools and graduated from Mountain Crest High School in 1996.

Kyler was a fun loving person with an infectious personality. Growing up he loved riding motorcycles and playing baseball. He took odd jobs while in middle school to buy his first motorcycle, he loved riding fast and jumping high. Baseball was his first love for many years, He pitched on the Providence WBBA little league baseball team that won the World Series in 1990. He walked on the Salt lake Community College baseball team and played for them two years, while playing summers with the Smithfield Bluesox.

He loved hunting, fishing and riding his new Harley. At the time of his passing he was working for Schlumberger in Alaska on a two week rotation. He had just returned home and was looking forward to spending time riding his Harley.

At the time of his passing he was fortunate to be with close friends whom he loved and enjoyed many great times with.

Kyler was a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He leaves behind his parents, a sister Amron (Justin) Goodsell, and brothers Brooks (Tiffani) and Dillon Hansen. Three nieces and three nephews, grandparents Rex and Melba Cook. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents Bill (Quentin) and Norma Hansen. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, September 22 at the College/Young Ward Chapel, 2394 West 2200 South in College Ward. A viewing will be held from 6-8 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan, and from 10:30-11:30 AM prior to services on Thursday at the church.
