Lauretta Maxine Sheffield passed away peacefully with her family by her side on March 9, 2023 at the age of 85. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and dear friend to all who encountered her.
She was always there when we needed encouragement, loving words, and the best hugs in the world. She spent many years raising generations of children in her at-home day care and later worked at the childcare center for CAPSA. She was a well-loved member of the community, and her gentle spirit will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her son, Scott K. Gardner, her daughter Crystal Raat, and her grandson Trevor Allan Hoover.
Services will be held on April 22, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 1255 N 600 E Logan, UT 84341 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers please consider a charitable contribution to CAPSA at https://www.capsa.org/donate/
