Leah Jane Remington Reigle

August 22, 1981 — April 12, 2018

It is with broken hearts that we announce that on April 12, 2018, Leah Jane Remington Reigle, of Logan, Utah, and of Cardston, Canada, passed away peacefully in her home, after a short battle with cancer. She was 36 years old.

Leah was born on August 22, 1981, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She was the second of eight children and spent her childhood in Vernon, B.C. as well as in Calgary, and then Cardston, Alberta, before moving to Utah to attend university. There, she completed her Bachelor of Communications and her Masters in Second Language Teaching. Prior to finishing school, she also served a full time mission in Romania, and delighted us with her anecdotes of the language barriers and cultural adjustments. While attending school, Leah also met the love of her life, Ryan Reigle. They were married in the Salt Lake temple on March 9, 2006 and moved to Logan, Utah shortly thereafter.

Leah made everything beautiful and loved to celebrate every occasion. No holiday went unnoticed, however minor. She loved to be surrounded by friends and family, and often planned elaborate dinner parties, holidays, movie theme nights, road trips, birthdays and anniversaries. Her own funeral was no exception, and in her last days, chose exactly how she wanted everything to be, down to the last detail. She truly embodied the art of making something out of nothing.

Leah is survived by her amazing and supportive husband, Ryan Reigle, her son Thomas Reigle, her parents, Carol and David Remington, her brothers and sisters Tara, Chelsey (Brad), Jordan, Timothy, Peter (Stephanie), Jonathan, and Katelyn (Zack) and numerous adored nieces and nephews, and an extended family too large to list.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Allen Mortuary of North Logan. Viewing will be held at Allen Mortuary of North Logan– 420 E 1800 N Logan, UT, Friday, April 20th, 5-7pm. A second viewing will be the following morning, on April 21st, from 930-10:30am. The funeral will be held at the LDS Chapel – 1550 E 1900 N Logan, UT, Saturday, April 21st, at 11:00am. Following the graveside service, the luncheon will be provided at 2:00pm at the LDS church.
