Louise Argyle Randall

Logan - Louise Argyle Randall, went to her heavenly home on November 3, 2016. She was born in West Bountiful, Utah, on May 17, 1922 to Ben Clifford and Josephine Elizabeth Corbett Argyle.
She is survived by her children James Kay Randall (Susan), ArVae Randall, Myrna Randall Harris(Jerry), Van Kelly Randall (Debbi), and her sister, Patty Jean Drage (Melvin), 22 grandchildren, 70 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sweetheart, Alfred Kay Randall in February 2014 and her brother, Budd Corbett Argyle.
After marrying Kay, Louise became a farmwife for nine years, living on the Woolley farm in Centerville. Louise was a wonderful mother, and helped out financially working at JC Penny Co. during the years her children skated competitively. Louise and Kay began managing a roller rink in Bountiful, Utah, in 1952. In 1956, they moved with their four children to Logan, Utah where they made owning and operating the Logan Roller Rink their life’s work. They taught the art of roller skating to many local young people, producing and directing two hour Roller Rhapsody skating shows for many years.
Church callings included: MIA teacher and counselor. She served in Primary as a leader, counselor, secretary, in-service leader, and historian. She taught nursery for 20 years in primary and Sunday School. She also served in the Relief Society as historian, educational counselor, spiritual leader, and twice as Relief Society President. She wrote two storybooks: Scripture Stories for Tiny Tots, and Bible Heroes (Horizon publishers) that read as if the story were being told to the tiny tots. Louise and Kay worked in the Logan Temple for many years, and served four full time missions to Apia, Western Samoa: - 1982-84; 1985-86; 1990-91; and 1995-96. Louise was a devoted mother, grandmother and friend. There is no doubt that her family and friends will miss this beautiful daughter of God.
Viewing: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Allen-Hall Mortuary
Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2016 with viewing 9:30- 10:30 at LDS Church 792 N. 500 East, Logan.
Interment: 3 p.m. Bountiful Cemetery 2224 S. 200 West; and on Pine St. in the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.allenmortuaries.net .
