Marilyn Wagner

Marilyn Christine Christensen Wagner, 89, passed away on Monday, February 26, 2018 at Sun Shine Terrace in Logan, Utah.
Marilyn was born on November 16, 1928 in Port Arthur, Texas. Her family soon moved to Dallas where she spent her early years with her parents, sister Betty, and brother William. In 1946 she entered Southern Methodist University in Dallas where she was a pre-med, and met Frederic Wagner who she married in 1949.
They moved to Madison, Wisconsin where Fred entered the University of Wisconsin for graduate school. Their sons Greg and Jeff were born in Madison. In 1961 they moved to Logan where Fred joined the faculty of USU in the College of Natural Resources.
Marilyn was a founding member of the Chamber Music Society of Logan initiated by Eastman Hatch, and served as its Program Chair for 30 years. She booked the top Chamber Music groups from around the world.
She is survived by siblings Betty and Bill, husband Fred, and sons Greg and Jeff.
