Mildred Catherine Overy Smith 97, born on October 3, 1924 passed away surrounded by her family on December 13, 2021
My beautiful mother left us to return to Dad, I like to say "He is no longer waiting on a woman."
Mom has a name, Mildred... but most of us who still know her, know her as Mom. She was born October 3 1924, in Florissant Missouri to David J. Overy and Margaret C. Lott.
She married Lorenzo Farnes Smith the II on January 1, 1947.
Mom was a great mom, She had a great sense of humor and joked up to the end, as she said she would. She was a busy lady selling Avon for 41 years, yet managed to keep 4 kids along with the love of her life Lorenzo fed and well taken care of. She was very proud of her accomplishments both as a mother, a woman and a wife.
She will be missed!
Mildred Overy Catherine Smith was proceeded in death by her husband Lorenzo Farnes Smith II, and is survived by her 4 children Lorenzo Farnes Smith III (Kate Smith), Kathy Needham (Barry Needham), David Smith, Vickie Baica (Marko Baica) 5 grand children and 5 great grandchild.
A viewing will be held 9am to 10 am followed by funeral services at 10 am, January 4th, 2022. Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church 725 S. 250 E, Hyde Park UT 84318
