Norma Hacking Dawson
February 13, 1938 — September 25, 2021
Norma was born in a small country town called Clayton Le moors in Lancashire England, She was the youngest child of Doris Pilkington and James E Hacking.
Her siblings were David Hacking born 1931 now deceased, Donald Hacking born 1936 now deceased and Maureen Hacking born 1933 still living.
At the age of 12 her family immigrated to Logan Utah USA where she attended school till her graduation from Logan High School in 1956. The following year she married Bradley Endersbe, They resided in numerous states finally setting in Jerome Idaho where they started a successful Drapery business. The marriage ended in divorce in 1978.
Norma returned to Utah where she later met and married Dale Dawson. The second marriage ended at his demise in 2006. There were no children from either marriage.
Norma worked at different positions and filled her leisure hours with her favorite pastime of painting ceramics. She enjoyed fishing and hunting with Dale and helped him with his hobby of raising fighting cocks. She enjoyed visiting with her loyal friends and was always ready for a party.
In 2018 she sold her home and moved into Assisted Living in Hyrum, Utah. A year later she transferred to another Assisted Living in Yreka Ca to be close to her sister Maureen. Norma and Maureen were able to spend many memorable hours together in the two years before her demise September 25th 2021
Norma is survived by her sister Maureen, 18 nieces and nephews, 33 Great nieces and nephews and 25 Great great nieces and nephews . She will be remembered for her wit and humor which endeared her to her many caretakers, friends and family.
In her passing she experienced her dearest wish to be with her beloved Dale. We rejoice in their re-union.
Services will take place Thursday, October 7, 2021. A viewing will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan, UT from 8:30 to 9:15am with graveside services to follow beginning at 10am in the Weston, Idaho Cemetery.
