Patricia Ann Daines Chadwick
June 14, 1925 — February 5, 2018
Patricia passed away February 5, 2018 at her home in North Logan. She was born into the loving home of Newel George and Verna Rainey Daines on August 14, 1925 and was blessed with 10 siblings.
From her youth, she loved people, music, and work. These gifts have blessed many lives.
Patricia met her husband while attending Utah Agricultural College (USU). They married March 9, 1951 in the Logan Temple. They were partners in many ventures and blessed each others lives.
She worked and served in many capacities but was often heard to say that of all her endeavors the one that was most challenging and most rewarding was that of wife and mother.
Patricia loved the gospel and was an active member in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed serving in the church and community throughout her life and magnified these opportunities. Pat and Duane served a mission to the Cook Islands. They loved the Maori people and were privileged to host them in their home for the next 24 years.
She is preceded in death by her siblings: Beulah Petersen, Newel Jr., Robert, and Paul Daines. She is survived by her husband and seven children: D. George Jr. (Lisa), Mary Sharp (Steven), Rebecca Taggart (Edward), Margaret Barker (Glen), John (Kim), Stephen (Carmina), and Suzanne Bingham (Curt). She is survived by her siblings: Janet McCowin, Helen Harvath, David, Jonathan, Samuel, and Stephen Daines.
Funeral services are under the direction of Allen-Hall Mortuary and will be Saturday, February 10th at the Logan 5th Ward Chapel (502 East 300 North) at 11:00. Visitations: Friday, February 9th, from 6-8 at Allen Mortuary of North Logan (420 East 1800 North) and Saturday 9:30-10:30 prior to the funeral.
