Phyllis Vanorden Anderson

Phyllis VanOrden Anderson passed away peacefully October 19, 2018 at her home surrounded by family.

She was born November 14, 1926 in Logan Utah to Leland L. and Melba Taggart VanOrden. Phyllis married Donald James Anderson May 24, 1947. Their marriage was later solemnized in Logan LDS temple. Together they had 6 children: Katherine (Kent) Lott, Donald (Chunlan) Anderson, Sandra Cruseturner, Colleen (Todd) Mott, Christine (Kim) Christensen and Michael Jon.

Phyllis loved to crochet and make afghans for family members. She took pride in her flower garden, especially her iris and roses.

Phyllis was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and had a strong testimony of her savior Jesus Christ. She held many callings and diligently served in all.

She is survived by her 5 children, brother Hugh VanOrden, 19 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and sister in law Bonnie Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, infant son Michael Jon, Sons in law Robert Cruseturner, and Clint Ruple, Grandsons Douglas Roskelley and Jesse Anderson.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Allen Hall Mortuary. Services will be held Wednesday October 24, 2018 at the Mount Logan stake center, 565 E 100 S at 1 PM. A viewing will be held from 11:30-12:30 prior to services.
