Renee Murray Anderson

January 22, 1932 — November 6, 2016

Renee M. Anderson, 84, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2016 at Sunshine Terrace. She was born in Wellsville Utah, on January 22, 1932. She was the oldest of three children born to Merlin and Betsy Parkinson Murray.

She married Lyle R. Anderson on November 30, 1949, in the Salt Lake City Temple. They had two boys, Richard and Gary.

She was a meticulous housekeeper, and worked hard all of her life. First working at Logan Laundry, then the WDCI cheese plant, and retiring from Cache Valley Dairy.

She had a deep love for her family and enjoyed any and all visitors. She always had a piece of candy, a Popsicle, or a can of soda for family when they visited. She was well loved and taken care of by her family and her Richmond 1st Ward family as well.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Lyle, who passed away October 1, 2006.

She is survived by a sister, Betsy (William) Swenson, and a brother, Paul (Nola) Murray. Sons, Richard (Linda) Anderson and Gary Anderson. Five grandchildren, Lesliee (Eric) Rich, Becky (Rod) Johnson, Cody (Tracy) Anderson, Brandi Anderson and Taci Anderson. Also by nine great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren with another expected in January.

Funeral services will be held on Monday November 14, 2016 at 12:00 noon in the Richmond LDS Stake Center, 135 West Main. A viewing will be held Sunday evening on November 13, from 6:00 to 8:00pm at the Stake Center, and from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to services. Interment will be in the Richmond City Cemetery.

A special thanks to Dr. Michael Stones for his loving care, his visits to Renee, and for personal phone calls to both Richard and Gary. The doctors and nurses at Logan Regional Hospital For their excellent care. The doctors and nurses at McKay-Dee Hospital, and the staff at Sunshine Terrace, especially the very kind hospice staff.
