Robert (Bob) Norris Buckley

Robert (Bob) Norris Buckley, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 7, 2019.
Bob was born on May 12, 1953 in Logan, Utah. He was raised in Hyrum by his maternal grandparents, Norris and Afton Nielsen. Bob was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout his life. He served a full-time mission in South Carolina.
After serving his mission, Bob married Susan Smith of Greenville, South Carolina. They had one child together. They were later divorced, and Bob moved back to Logan.
In 1992 Bob married Tonya Laws of Malad, Idaho. On November 26, 1993 they were sealed for time and eternity in the Logan Temple. They had two children together. Despite divorcing after 16 years of marriage, Tonya has continued to be Bob’s best friend and caretaker. Bob was known for keeping busy, his hard work ethic, and always doing his best. His family takes comfort in knowing that they will all be together again someday.
Bob is survived by Tonya Laws Buckley; children: Sarah Elisabeth Buckley, Mark Thomas Buckley, and Jennifer Mason; half-sisters: Kellie Scott and Julie Nielsen, and his beloved aunts: Brenda Nielsen and Marva Nielsen.
A viewing will be held Friday, November 15, 2019 at 1:00pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 East Center Street in Logan, Utah. Family prayer will be at 1:30pm and a Graveside dedication will follow at the Logan Cemetery.
