Wendy Gunnell Jeffries

July 20, 1973 — June 1, 2019

Wendy Gunnell Jeffries, 45. A loving mother, daughter, sister and friend returned to her Heavenly Father on June 1st, 2019 in her Hooper home.
Wendy was born July 20, 1973 to Clair and Paulette Gunnell in Logan, Utah.
Wendy grew up in Wellsville, Utah and graduated from Mountain Crest High School. Upon graduation she married Kyle Jeffries (1992). Wendy and Kyle spent their first year of marriage in Great Falls Montana.
When he went overseas, she returned to Logan, Utah to attend and graduate from Beauty School. When they returned to Utah, they settled in Hooper, Utah. She has one beautiful daughter, Jensie, who was the light of her life. So many things made her life an adventure. She loved four-wheeling, camping, traveling, dancing, theatre, and spending time with friends and family (including the many pets she had over the years.) She owned her own hair and nail salon, and loved her many clients and coworkers. Wendy was always known to be generous, kind, caring, loyal, adventurous and always up for a good time (as long as it was before 10pm). She is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Wendy is survived by her daughter Jensie, her parents Clair and Paulette Gunnell. Her three sisters, Tammy (Eric) Richins, Tiffany (Robert) Friedel, Nicole (Josh) Riggs, her brother Clint Gunnell, her niece Kayla, her nephews Kelton and Jase, and her special friend Jade Swasey. Wendy is also survived by her beloved pets, Rhett, Scarlett, and Drago.

We will honor Wendy’s life at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 8th at the Wellsville 3rd Ward Chapel, 195 S. Center St. in Wellsville. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the church and from 11-12:45 p.m. on Saturday prior to services. We ask that everyone wears something pink (Wendy’s favorite color) to celebrate her life. Burial will be at Wellsville Cemetery. Condolences and thoughts may be expressed online at www.allenmortuaries.net .

Wendy, you are so loved by so many people. We miss you so much. It is comforting to know you are safe and at peace and with loved ones and beloved pets. We wait for the day when we can hold you in our arms again.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite animal shelter. She couldn’t stand the thought of abandoned and homeless animals.
Till we meet again, darling Wendy. We love you.
