Wyatt Jay Izsak

Wyatt was a fighter. He was not expected to live to his birthday. But he had other plans. He was able to make it to 37 weeks and was born April 7 2019 at the University Of Utah hospital. He was born to a loving Mother, Father and Big sister. Through his few months of life, he brought many smiles to many people and a lot of knowledge to a lot of nurses and doctors. He was the most uncommon baby to be born there, he was born with an extremely rare genetic malformation called Bohring Opitz. It allowed him to have the most beautiful hair and long nails, but it effected his lungs, stomach and heart. He also had another uncommon disorder called Dandy Walkers, which is extra fluid in the back of brain that effects learning capabilities.
Even with all the odds stacked against him, he fought on. He made the most of what life was given to him. He made many smile with his shenanigans. When he got nurses he didn’t know he would peek at them with one eye and give them “the stink eye”. When it was a nurse he did know, he would raise his hand as if to wave and ‘say’ “Watch this.” and would drop his saturation stats. When he would hear them coming with the suction for his mouth he would look at them and then clamp his mouth shut. There will always be many memories of our time with Wyatt in the NICU.
We don’t say goodbye, we are saying see you when we get to heaven to be with you. Wyatt is survived by his mother Kelli Izsak, his father Matthew Izsak, his sister Annabelle Izsak and many aunts, grandmas and grandpas. Wyatt passed on August 31 2019 at 12:45 am in the loving arms of his mother, father and sister, surrounded by family and friends that loved him greatly.
The viewing for Wyatt will be Friday, September 6, 2019 from 6pm - 8pm at the Allen Mortuary of North Logan, 420 East 1800 North,and his graveside will be at 11 am on Saturday, September 7, 2019 in the Logan City Cemetery.
