Anne M. Bentley, a resident of Providence, passed away peacefully on Monday November 6th, 2023. Born Annie Marie Pugh in Dallas Texas on October 6, 1931, she was blessed with two sons, Dana Bentley and Vic Bentley, six grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren, with a great-great grandchild due in December. All of these children knew her as Grannie Annie which she loved. Anne was born into a family of seven, and is survived by her loving sister Francis Robertson of Boise Idaho. Anne loved all of her family dearly, always placing them first in her life and helping however she could. She enjoyed flowers, especially the wild poppies in her adopted home state of California. She loved to stroll along the beaches with her grandchildren, and had one visit her each year, taking them to Disneyland and other Southern California sights. And she loved to dance! Taking ballroom dance lessons and encouraging her kids to learn as well, albeit with mixed results. Anne was a long-time employee of Bank of America and Chase Bank, starting as a teller and working her way into real estate appraising, with the highlight of her career being the first female Appraisal Manager at Chase. Upon retiring, Anne moved to Providence, Utah to be nearer to her grand kids, where she loved her family and hated the snow! Anne will be missed dearly by family and friends, and all are grateful for having known and loved her. She is now free from the bonds of this earth and we know she is happy in Eternity with her momma and other loved ones. Services for Anne are being handled by Allen Mortuaries of Logan Utah. Flowers may be sent there, or in lieu of flowers please consider donating in memoriam of Anne Bentley, to the Toys for Tots program or the Autism Society of America.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday November 15th at 1 pm at Allen-Hall Mortuary 34 E. Center Street Logan. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior starting at 12 Noon. Services will be livestreamed, a link can be found on her obituary page at www.Allenmortuaries.com.
