Blaine Howard Liechty

Blaine H. Liechty, 92, passed away April 8, 2026 in Mesquite, NV.

Blaine was born on January 31, 1934 to Ernest Liechty and Bergetta Andrus in Logan, UT. He spent his early childhood in Logan. He graduated from Logan High and attend Utah State University. He loved playing all outdoor sports and hunting and fishing.

He married Clea Stauffer on Nov. 18, 1952. He lived most of his life in Logan and spent winters in Mesquite, NV in the sunshine. He loved to travel taking many vacations; hunting, fishing & camping and boating in Bear Lake. When in Logan he loved snow skiing serving many years on the Beaver Mountain Ski Patrol.

He worked at several professions mostly as a Service Tech for Thiokol Track Master and at ATK as a Rocket Fuel Tech.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ernest and Bergetta Liechty. He is survived by his loving wife of 73 years Clea, children Kim (Bette) Liechty, Tina (Dean) Bolton and Lisa (Theron) Ringenberg. Eleven grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
