Brenda Pitcher Cook, 61 passed away unexpectedly on March 20, 2024 in her home.  She was born August 2, 1962, in Logan, Utah.  She was the last of 7 children to Weldon Ray and L. Merlynn Pitcher.  She was raised in Smithfield, Utah.  She was an adventurous child.  She met the love of her life, Keven Cook, when she was 14, through a mutual friend, Keith Laursen.  Keven and Brenda were married on January 6, 1979.  They had a son Joshua and daughter Sheena.  

Most of her career was spent at Pepperidge Farm.  Throughout her 40+ years of working there she trained many new hires, whom she took under her wing.  She gained many lifelong friends in her years.  Her grandchildren were her everything! She was loved by many and will be greatly missed!!

She was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law, brothers, Bradley and Rodney, nephews, Bradley and Kyler, and niece, Mackenzie.  

She is survived by her husband, Keven, son Josh (Amy), daughter Sheena (Den), granddaughters Talia, Taya, Taylynn and grandson Ethan, siblings, Jeff (Kim) Pitcher, Susan (Richard) Saltern, Carol (Spouse of Rodney Pitcher), LynnAnn (Gary) Mitchell, and Kathy Pitcher.  

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, March 29, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Smithfield 8th Ward Building, located at 155 W. 400 N. Smithfield, Utah 84335.  A visitation will be held prior to the funeral service from 11:45am-12:45pm. Graveside service will follow services at the Smithfield Cemetery for family only.
