It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Chad David Jessop, beloved son, brother, and friend, who left us on February 9, 2026, at the age of 52 in the comfort of his own home. Chad was born, raised and lived in Logan for the duration of his life.

In November of 1997, Chad endured a devastating injury, breaking his back. Shortly after his accident, Chad came to terms with the reality of his new circumstances and made the decision to make the best of it. Despite the immense physical challenges he faced daily, Chad’s spirit remained unwavering. His ability to maintain an uplifting outlook on life, even in the face of adversity, was nothing short of extraordinary. He was a true testament to strength, perseverance, and selflessness.

Chad was not one to dwell on his own struggles. Instead, he was always more concerned with the well-being of those around him, always asking how others were doing and offering a kind word or a listening ear. His generosity and caring nature left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.

Chad’s family, friends, and community will forever remember his infectious laughter, his unwavering optimism, and the boundless kindness he showed to all. He had a unique way of making people feel seen, heard, and valued. His ability to find joy in the smallest of moments was a gift that touched many hearts.

Chad is survived by his father, Jay Jessop; his sister, Lori Jessop; his brother, Alan Jessop; and his sister-in-law, Joann Jessop. He was a beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews: Dakota Jessop, Kylie Jessop, Danielle Olsen, Tanner Jessop, Carson Jessop, Tyler Knowles, and Dustin Knowles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Jean Jessop Lewis, and his sister, Sidnie Lee Jessop.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Allen-Hall Mortuary located at 34 E Center St. in Logan on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at noon. A short service will take place, with the expectation that afterward many will share their memories and experiences of Chad with those in attendance. Guests are encouraged to come prepared to share. The service will be broadcast live at www.allenmortuaries.com

His legacy will live on in the countless lives he touched, the lessons of kindness and positivity he taught, and the love he gave selflessly to all.
