Chance DeVerl Williams

Chance DeVerl Williams, 39, of Nibley, Utah, passed away on September 1, 2026, surrounded by the love of those who meant the most to him.

Chance was a happy-go-lucky, larger-than-life kind of guy who never really stopped being a big kid at heart. He had an incredible ability to bring laughter and light wherever he went. Whether he was spending time with family and friends, building Legos, playing video games, enjoying the Cache Valley Dart League, or simply relaxing and “chilling,” Chance found joy in the simple things and, most of all, in the people around him.

Those who knew Chance will remember him as the silly one—the life of the party who could make people laugh and make even an ordinary moment feel special. He was never afraid to be messy and he was proof that pure authenticity will never scare away the right people. He had a way of making people feel seen, loved, and important. His presence could fill a room, and his absence leaves a space that will never truly be filled.

Above all else, Chance loved his family fiercely. His wife, BrandaLee (Brandi) Christensen Williams, was his rock and the love of his life, and his greatest pride and joy were his son, Cougar Jett Williams, and his bonus daughter, BrookeLynn Fay Austin. The love he had for them was unquestionable. They were the center of his world, and he cherished every moment he shared with them.

Chance will be deeply missed by his wife, Brandi; son, Cougar; bonus daughter, BrookeLynn; parents, Robyn (Bill) Brewer and Bret (Teresa) Williams; siblings, Chase Williams, Jessica (Chuck) Bingham and Kassie (John) Rhodes; as well as his nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and all those fortunate enough to have known and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Travis and Brandon, as well as his grandparents, and a handful of extended family that were just as important to him as the others.

A viewing will be held Friday, September 4, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at Allen-Hall Mortuary, 34 E. Center Street, Logan, Utah.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, if anyone would like to offer assistance, the family kindly asks that donations be made directly to Chance’s family through Brandi’s Venmo (@b-willia1369). This is to help cover the cost of services, extensive medical bills and loss of income and to allow the family to properly grieve without the added stress of financial turmoil.

Chance’s life was a reminder that you don’t have to take yourself too seriously to make a serious difference in someone else's life. He loved hard, laughed often, and made the people around him feel special.

Those who knew Chance will carry his laughter, his silliness, his enormous heart, and the love he had for his family with them always. He will be missed more than words can express, but his memory—and the love he gave so freely—will live on in all of us.
