Connie N. Allred, age 86, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on October 6, 1939, in Logan, Utah, to Golden and Elizabeth Reese and was also lovingly raised by Ephraim and Verona Niederhauser. She grew up in Cache Valley, where she developed the kindness, work ethic, and quiet strength that would define her life.

Connie attended Logan High School before continuing her education at Utah State University, where she met the love of her life, Brent Allred. They were married and later sealed for time and all eternity in the Logan Utah Temple on June 9, 1961. Together they built a beautiful home centered on faith, love, laughter, and family.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Brent; her daughters, Lisa Astle (Joe) and Tiffany Reber (Ryan); her grandchildren, Josh Astle (Kayla), JaCee Fisher (Jason), and Carter Miichelson (McKinley); and her six beloved great-grandchildren: Paisley, Jayne, Layne, Zoey, Lucas, and Vivian. Her family was the greatest joy of her life, and she treasured every opportunity to be together.

Connie worked throughout her life at Everton's Hardware, ZCMI, and Herff Jones. She approached every job with dedication, kindness, and integrity, making lasting friendships wherever she went.

She had many passions. She loved traveling with her dear friends Bonnie and Paul Stone, making treasured memories in Hawaii and Palm Springs. She was a devoted Utah Jazz fan who faithfully followed the team from the days of Karl Malone and John Stockton through the Donovan Mitchell era. Family members knew they could count on Connie for the latest scores, standings, and game updates. Many evenings were happily spent cheering on the Jazz, guessing puzzles on Wheel of Fortune, and watching recordings of Price is Right.

Connie loved bringing people together. Christmas Eve and Easter celebrations at her home became cherished family traditions filled with laughter, delicious food, and treasured memories. She was an exceptional cook whose baked beans and famous coffee cake became family favorites that everyone requested.

She was always beautifully dressed, with every detail in place and never a hair out of place. More importantly, she possessed a beautiful heart. Connie was kind, thoughtful, hardworking, funny, and always thinking of others. She was a loyal friend, an attentive listener, and someone who made everyone feel welcome and loved.

One favorite family story dates back to Logan High School when Connie competed in a three-legged race alongside future football legend Merlin Olsen. Chosen because she was the smallest student in her class and he was the largest, the race quickly became unforgettable when Merlin simply picked Connie up and carried her across the finish line. It became a story that brought smiles for decades.

As a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Connie lived a life centered on love, service, and devotion to her family. Her quiet example of faith and Christlike kindness blessed all who knew her.

Though her family will deeply miss her, they rejoice in the knowledge that families are eternal and find comfort knowing she has returned home to a loving Heavenly Father. Her legacy of love, faith, generosity, and joyful family traditions will continue for generations.
